Dan asked the question: how does one construct community? let me tell you- by printing up all of your friends facebook profile pictures and creating a origami sphere out of them- creating one unit. yeah?

this is how it started:

going through all of my friends on facebook and coping their profile picture.. OMG this took longer than i thought. also delete a bunch of people.

so then i re-sized them (!!!) and printed them. I only have 212 friends (now), so it wasn’t so bad.

I then cut a square out

and folded it in to the “frog base”.

and folded with in the folds, creating more folds..

did some more fancy folding..

took it apart.. and folded it back together to create a cone.

I had to make 42 of these cones.. So i’ll finish this later.
